GM Parts Direct??

Has anyone here ordered the fender flares from GMPartsdirect? if so did you have any problem with them? I believe I ordered both the front and back with matching color for my truck. Indigo blue, the two part numbers were 12496422 and  12496423. Well I got a package a the other day and it was the two front flares but no back ones. I got an email confirmation from them saying the order was complete and they gave me a tracking number for the parts I received but nothing for the parts I didn't. they list the parts as being shipped but I don't know if they think they shipped them together in the same box or not. I paid $287.44 for a set of 4 I think? Does anyone have any experience with them?

I've ordered a few parts from them for my Z28.  No problems.  Those part numbers look like a left and a right number....  are you sure that you ordered front and rear both sides and not just the front left and right ones?

I'd say to send them off an e-mail if you can't find a phone # for them.  GM Parts Direct is run out of some GM dealership (it's probably on the box)...  try to find a phone # and talk to someone who can find some answers.

I think you should drop them an email and see if it was a two box shipment.  Perhaps the one box is still on route.

I emailed them about my concerns and they got back to me pretty quickly. everything is fine, they said that made a mistake and marked both shippments as complete when they shouldn't have. they apologized for the confussion and now I'm just waiting for the rest of the Fender Flares.  thanks for the replys guys.

Glad to hear it sounds like it'll end good for you.  I opted to order from www.partszoneonline.com instead of GM Parts Direct because GMPD has really high shipping costs and does not list a phone number.  PZO prices are about the same as well.

Your right, GMPD doesn't advertise a phone number and they say they don't do business by phone. I noticed the shipping costs were pretty high. I'll be looking other places like you mentioned for my next mods stuff.

I ordered flares from them about a month ago.  they did ship in two separate boxes; one for the front and one for the back pair.  I got them ahead of schedule and the price was not bad.  I guess becauase I was comparing it to what the local dealer was trying to charge me   ;)   Sorry you had problems with them.  Hope you get your flares in a timely manner.
