New lights

I had the my new OEM style clearance lights installed Monday. Body shop charged me 112 bucks to do it which I didnt think was to bad. I'll have to get some pics at night with them lit up. The neat thing is when I hit the unlock button on the key fob they flash with the parking lights. If you click the link in my sig I have a couple more pics.

Looks great... I just picked up a set of GM factory clearance lights with the stock wiring harness. I'll be installing them when the weather gets better.

Nice! GM body shop did that, or an indepentdent shop? And was that with lights included? Or were the lights purchased seperately?

I had an independent shop install them. The price was just the instalation. The lights came from Cabelas. Thier web site lists them at 49.99 to 69.99 depending on the diferent style. I got the lights as an X-Mas gift. Next I hope to get the factory fog lights.

Excellent, thanks. My dealer was quoting me $225.00 for just the lights. He must have been smoking something.

I bought the factory lights and harness. Gotta love that plug and play method. It took me about two hours to complete the entire install. I did get concerned as I watched the metal filings go all over the roof and glass as I drilled. Thank God I had an air compressor to blow all those bits off.

From GM Parts Direct...the factory parts were about $150 plus shipping. You can get a set of Pacers for about $70...
