Anyone add Navigation?

Hello All,

New to this site. What a great resource of information.

 

I have a quick question.

I am looking to add an in-dash navigation unit to my 2001 Tahoe. I called up Crutchfield and they said all that would fit is the Pioneer Avic-N2 which is a flip-out type 6.5" Screen. Has anyone added in dash unit to their 2001+ (not sure if newer years had the same type dash and radio size) GMC without having to modify the dash in any way? I would much rather have a regular in-dash as it looks much more 'factory' then a flip-out screen. If so, please tell me which make/model unit you decided to go with.
