Tire Suggestions - '02 S-10 reg cab 2wd

Before my son gets back from Iraq at the end of the month, I'm getting his S-10 ready for some cross-country driving when he gets out of the Corps this summer. All the mechanicals are up to snuff, now it needs new tires. Suggestions? He put Tiger Paws on it last time (same as when new) and I don't care for them. I'm thinking of a set of BFG Radial T/As. Other suggestions?

My son's 02 Sonoma 4wd has Goodyear Wrangler RT/S (original) which is going to be replaced with same.

No issues on the other vehicles I've put Goodyear on.

I am one for original equipment if there are no problems.

Whatever you choose go with the recommended size (unless it's lifted ! )

Defintely ditch the tiger paws in favor of some goodyears You can get a nice set of eagle gtII's for a really fair price they wear decent and they have good traction and they are affordable.

 

They also have a huge size selection. I have a set on my 20's for my silverado and my dad has them on his 03 sonoma.

well since its 2wd and you dont mind spending a little money i have bridgestone potenza's on my 1989 s-10 2wd. and they're d**n good tires
