97 steering issue

When I'm driving my 97 std cab 4x4 with a 5.7 there's a steering problem. I tried to figure out what it is and have realized the steering wheel won't return to center at all. Like when I'm in a parking lot and make a 90 degree left turn, the wheel will stay there until I correct it back. Is this a failure of the EVO system/steering gear, ball joints or what? I'm going to lube the front end and see if it helps, but I'm thinking no. ANy ideas or more info needed? It steers very easy and no noise form the pump, fluid level is fine.

My 97 does the exact same thing, cleaning the evo sensor helped a little, But I think its just one of those things that you just gotta live with.
