Dealer wants $73.00 Not exceptable.Anybody

have any other options other then living with

Ebay is your best friend in this case. You will have an even easier time than I since you already have a remote. I had none so it was a crap shoot to get the right one with no GM/UTA number to go off of. Just go to ebay and type in the number off the back of your remote (The number with GM/UTA before it, not FCC ID) and it should pop up with plenty of results. Should cost $20 - 30 for a brand new one.

Go to gmpartsdirect

and type in the P/N of your remote (120.......). If I remember right, it's less than $50.- incl. shipping for a brand new one.
