Not level from side to side

I've noticed my truck has become unlevel from side to side....I'm thinking it's either the shocks or leaf springs causing it.

 

I've checked tire pressure...even measured the distance from the ground on both sides of the rear axle....it's the same distance.

 

However, when I do the same for the left and right frames, the left frame is about 3/4" closer to the ground than the right frame.

 

This tells me it's some part of the suspension causing the inbalance, but is there a way to tell if it's the shocks or springs?

Just put a few turns on the bolt for the torsion bar on the drivers side, and it will level everything back up.

Shocks will have no effect on the "level-ness" of your truck.

That's right. To adjust the suspension correctly you should load it to the normal level (sandbags in place of the driver) and make sure you bounce the front after making the adjustment to ensure you get it right.

REMEMBER...........When adjusting the t-bars...............

 

Jack up the truck slightly. It makes the t-bar bolts easier to turn!

 

Turn the bolts clockwise to raise.....Counterclockwise to lower.

 

Note that the t-bar bolts may or may NOT be turned in to a equal

length so don't be alarmed................geo

Also, whenever you tweak your t-bars you will need to go get an alignment. Will save your tires in the long run. I had the same problem that you had and I adjusted my t-bars and had to go get an alignment after I noticed abnormal tire wear.
