6.0l, which flowmaster????

howdy, i am looking to get rid of the stock muffler on my 2003 2500LD truck (thats right LD) i have narrowed it down to the flowmaster big block sieres, but i cant decide between the 50 or 70 sieres, i am wondering if anyone has any imput on this one?? i tow a 30ft travel trailer so noise could be a issue under load, im just wondering if the 50 will be to loud??? im looking for a nice rumble tone, with out ringing ears inside the cab, any ideas, suggestions???????????? thanks Ryan

I went with a Dynomax ultra flow series, i highly recommend them as they flow way better than flowmaster and don't drone near as much.

Neither, dont go Flow!!! Magnaflow, Hooker, Dynomax, Borla. Just not Flowmaster.

Had a flowmaster 50 on my 2500hd, the stock system had 3" exhast pipes, i think yours are 2-3/4". I had the flowmaster put on in the same place the stock one was, and used the stock tail pipe. Sounded very good,BUT......the in cab resonance was terrible. After a long trip to michigans upper penn. i took the flowmaster off and went back to stock. I would find myself on the gas often to get rid of the resonance which increased the risk of a ticket,lol. I would stay away from flowmaster if you have a 6.0L
