knock senser

Gm tech, I am looking for the location of the jnock senser on a 4.8 engine. This is on a 2000 gmc siera.

Please give a picture if possible.

You have to pull your intake manifold to access the Knock sensors. Thats why its a bad idea for people to wash down their engine bays.

Yup, they're under the intake manifold.

 

Not that bad of a job though.
