Kicker SL7 15" in a single cab

hey just wondering if anyone has heard anything good about the square kicker SolobaricL7 15" subwoofer. Well Im pretty sure one will fit if i make a custom box and maybe move the pass seat up. What do you guys think would a 15" square fit in a regular cab 1999 new body style silverado. I was then thinking two 15s but that maybe too much. Anyways im adding kicker 200watt components 6.5with a amp running those in the doors and another amp running the sub. Anyways any ideas on amp placement would be great also. I was thinking of a couple places but please ideas are nice. Thaks guys cant wait for some ideas

I wouldn't go bigger than a 12" solo in a reg cab...But that's just me. Heck, if I were putting an L7 in a regular cab, I would only use a 10. Those f***ers are loud as hell.

The last sub i had was a pioneer premier 2000 watt max 12" and i loved it and was thinking of running the higher 5000 watt pioneer premier 12 because i had already had a 2000watt runnin the one and it was enought for me, enought for most and blew away people on the streets running two 12s but i always wanted more. Now if i were crazy id pick up a 100pound 18" kicker but i dont want that much bump

what size of subs completely depends on what kind of music you listen to. I have a 2000 reg cab silverado and just had 2 10" memphis subs installed in mine and it really sounds good. while i was getting them installed the place i bought them from told me that if you listen to alot of rap 2 12" subs are good if you listen to a variety go with 2 10" subs and definitly replace the door speakers theyll be blown in a heartbeat with the high power amp if you dont. i found that out the hard way. id go with regular subs unless you wanna spend some serious money on the square. with amp placement id have it either on the box itself and have a wired remote or have it on the center hump in the floor if nobody sits in the middle seat that way you can adjust it and not have to move the seats back and forth

Hmmm on the hump. Ive got a 5sp so i dont think theyd fit. under the chair has alot of room ill check when i get the amps. either that or above my head. im already planning on taking out the middle seat cushion and wraping the sub box around the seats and pop out sum in the middle so that the middle person will lean against the box then just put some padding on it. so its a comfortable massage chair. Then again all 3 will be massage chairs. Or make the box go into an armrest and just have a two seater.
