Add OEM cruise to '02 Silverado?

OK, guys.

 

What do I need/how much/how to add OEM cruise to my 2002 4.8L 4x4 Silverado? A guy quoted me $499 for the parts. Sounds like a ripoff. What do you think?

All you really need is two parts. The signal switch on the column with cruise and the module with the cable that bolts on to the firewall right in front of the driver seat. Both are usually available on ebay. Just change the signal switch and add the module, plug them in and your ready. I done this on a V6 2001 no problem. The V6 module has a different length cable.
