getting new truck...

hey gang!

found me a brand new 2006 Chevy, 2500HD regular cab long bed 4x4, with the Big Block 8.1 and Allison six speed.

Is the LT version in the dark blue metallic color. Trim code is L18 1LT. Has all the options i want!

Will be trading in my 03 Sierra (paid for). Will know for sure Wednesday.

Always nice to get a new truck. That one sounds great. My neighbor across the street has one very similar and he loves it. I'm hopefully trading mine back for a Duramax, the 6.0L just wasn't enough. Best of Luck!

Yeah, I hear you about the 6.0. Sometimes you just can't convince yourself that it is right and, in this case, it just isn't enough engine. Been there, done that, and it sucks.

 

You will absolutely love the new LBZ Duramax. Unbelieveable power/torque, wonderfully-smooth suspension and they've really improved the throttle response by light-years. I simply could not bring myself to buy the older models, but once I drove the 2006, I just had to get one. Truly, the Duramax/Allison has come of age.

 

And don't be surprised if you leave it bone-stock. It is one heck of a truck just as she comes.
