I'm new too!

Just bought a 1979 GMC Sierra Classic Heavy Half, half ton heavy duty 2wd. Looks like I'm going to have to do a little maintenance, but it's riding alright so far. Little tranny leak, must be the rear seal since there was a new one sitting in the glove box.

 

This is my first GM vehicle, and I'm going to be doing a little work to get it reliable, but not going to do anything crazy with it. I look at this as my summer truck until I get an '07 car, and a parts hauler and weekend housework truck after that. If anyone can point me to resources for repairs and common probs with the trans, and parts for the interior, mostly, that'd be great.
