Anyone used this Rough Country Lift Kit?

I called and it contains:

(W) Front torsion bar adjuster keys, rear blocks with U-bolts.

Are these torsion bar adjuster keys similar to what I have been reading about in other threads that can be bought at the dealership?

If so, I was also thinking about getting the keys and using add-a-leaf in the rear.

I'm only looking for a 2" lift.

thanks

I wish I could have been happy with just 2 inches  . Anyways, buy a set of the "ford key's" off of ebay for cheap and and get the "add a leaf" or 2" block for the rear. The "ford Keys" will replace the stock torsion bar "keys"; they are indexed slightly, and it basically cranks up the torsion bars. Just don't go over 2" in front.

You will then need to get the front realigned.

Good luck.

Thanks. So are the Ford keys the same(or similar) to the aftermarket keys? On my 2000 Silverado I just cranked up the torsion bars to level the truck out and my 285s fit. So, can I crank up the torsion bars and then add the keys to get another 2"?

Also, what do you recommend? The add-a-leaf or the blocks? To me the add-a-leaf seems like it would be better.

mine has torsion keys in the front and an adda leat in the back and it's absolutely perfect....bout 1.5 inch lift.

I'm 305/70 series maxxis mudders with not a problem in the world.
