Interesting way to balance tires?

I had always had my tires and wheels Hunter Road Force Balanced in the past, but I found this today and thought it was pretty interesting.

There is a video on the bottom of the web page link that explains it further. Pretty interesting or at least I thought so

I guess it's the same principal as a elastomeric harmonic balancer for an engine. It seems like a good idea instead of having the ugly lead weights on a nice set of rims you worked a year to save up for.

It's hard for me to accept that a balancing weight will just "go" to the part of the wheel that needs weight in order for the wheel to run true. If there's a heavy side to the wheel, it seems like the weight will try to go there and jump on the bandwagon, so to speak. That's the opposite of where the weight *should* go.
