Get in the truck and close the door with the key in the ign.hold the power door lock switch in the unlock position while turning the ign. to the run position then off three times the horn will sound then let off of the door lock switch, then press the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob at the same time and hold till the door locks cycle then do the same with the second key fob then turn the key to the on position and then off your done. This will take about 15 seconds per key fob

Scott, I had one go bad on my 05, Dealer had to reprogram it. I watched them do it didnt look like a big deal. They used their hand help computer. But be sure to bing in both key fobs, they have to reprogam both of them. But as far as I know they have to do it for you.

Hope this helps.

How many remotes can the vehicle handle at once? I know my wife old Grand Am had about 4 and they all worked. I like to get spares done just in case.

guappy's instructions are the easiest to use and will work!

They can also be programmed with the TECH-II Scan Tool but guappy's is the easiest (And cheapest :chevy: )

Well that didnt take long its in the owners manual that each vehicle can have a maximum of 4 transmitters matched to it.
