What is the part number for the 06 GMC Sierra 1500 Crewcab 2wd front bumper lower valance with fog lights?

I have been trying to get an answer on this too. gmpartsdirect.com lists the fog light kit for the '06 Silverado as part# 17802547. Supposedly it comes with the gray lower valance panel, so I do not follow what you mean by "smooth - must be painted". All these valance panels are the same dark gray color regardless of the truck color.

 

Anyway, gmpartsdirectr.com claims that GM has not released the fog light kit for the '06 yet. I do not believe this. Have they changed the valance panel for the '06? the fog light kit itself is probably identical.

 

If the cheapskates had not deleted the foglights on the '06 LT1 Z71s, I would not be trying to figure this out.

Never mind, I see now that the part you gave is the valance panel itself. It is listed for over $ 280. How can they sell a fog light kit, that supposedly includes this panel, for $ 220?

If I may suggest I would check with your local dealer on the cost and part number. I installed the fog light kit on my 05 last year. I was able to acquire the entire package threw the dealership cheaper than any on line site.

Because he has a GMC,The valances on the GMC's are different.On the '03-up GMC's its actually a lower bumper cover,not a valance.On pre-'03 GMC's its called a "Deflector,Frt.Air"

Again because we are talking about a GMC,Not a Chevrolet.

GM just released a fog lamp kit for the '06 Silverado's,Its part number 17802547 with a list of $225.00

I haven't ordered any of these yet but they should come with the black front air deflector,not the gray one.
