It is mounted on the dash to the left of the cell phone.

How do you like your Voyager? I'm trying to decide between the Voyager and the Envoy right now (I don't need the "bells and whistles" of the Prodigy, and I just don't like the looks of the front of the Sentinel). Are the gain and level knobs easy to adjust on the Voyager? On the Envoy all of the controls are on the face of the unit -- I'm leaning toward this setup. But there seem to be an awful lot of Voyagers out there so they must be reliable. The prices of the two are close so it's just a matter of preference.

I really like it. I set it like it says in the manual (until the light glows orange) and I haven't had to touch it since!!!! It's small and out of the way, so I like that too...

There were 2 holes from the factory under my dash right at the bottom. My E brake controller mounting bracket lined up perfectly with those 2 holes. You might want to check those out before you do any drilling!

This question is for those with bucket seats. Has anyone tried to mount the brake controller in the cubby hole below the cd player or in the overhead console? If the center console hole works, it would ge a great place to keep it out of the way.

i thought about that, but you dont want the controller out of the way. you want to be able to reach it for manually applying brakes if there is trouble. i mounted mine near the e-brake release on the left side. there it is very easy to get to, and i can keep my right hand on the steering wheel.

First of all, thanks for everyones help!

I bought a Prodigy ($118 at Ag-south). I have installed the controller, but not the wiring yet. I am going to use the soldering equipment at work to make the cables the right length from fusebox to controller.

I am mounting it on the metal brace at the bottom of the dash, just in front of the gas pedal.

As to concealment of the controller, I couldn't find anywhere that it would fit, that I liked. It also has to be oriented in a certain way and that messes with some locations.

Have any of you tried the draw tite activator? It is mounted in a remote location .

For 2007^1/2/08 dash: For those who did not opt for the GM integrated brake conroller, the LTZ interior is difficult to find a convenient spot for mounting an aftermarket unit. Often is not viewable or reachable by driver, interferes with knee, shin or whatever or can look to be sort of added-on.

I took some time to read other forums, look at pics and have come up with my solution to mount a Tekonsha P3. This is the newest and certainly seems to be an excellent Tekonsha product. My second Tekonsha (5 problem free years with a "Sentinnel")

It is mounted under the dash valence on the extreme RHS above the gas (fuel) pedal. It slants upwards to allow for easy viewing by the driver of the very informative screen display and varous settings. I had to design/fabricate a custom bracket, but it was worth it. Other minor mounting details were easily solvable. I will insert a few images. If anyone is interested, I can provide more deatils. Many other forum users (especially full-size truck/SUV) one, helped me a lot. Hope this gives some alternatives for a real tidy functional mount arrangement.

I get the point. I apologize for the duplication. Ya, I did post on the HD trucks as well. Just wanted to help those with similar dash design on non-HD's in case they didn't look there. I'll shut up on the issue.
