Two thumps up for Seafoam! :nono::seeya:

Last weekend I notice poor acceleration, poor mileage and some pinging on 2002 GMC, after couple of calls to some friends, I went down to AutoZone and got two cans seafoam. Added one can thought the brake booster line and the other can in the crank shaft.

Wow…I never saw so much smoke coming out the exhaust. After that I took the truck for a spin around 610 (Houston Loop) and notice the ping went away and the truck ran allot smoother. The next morning fill the tank with Chevron gas and went to San Antonio, cursed around and notice that I was able to ride 275 mile on a half tank  . That has never happen since went the truck was bran new. I did calculate that my MPG increased by 2 for a total 17 on the highway and 14 in the city. I recommend this product.

Sea Foam is a good product. Several individuals that I know have used it with good results. It helped out my jetta when I brought it home when I first bought it.

Be carefull when you put it in the oil and drive around. It is more of an engine flush and not really intended for any long term use in the oil system. Remember it is a solvent not a lubricant.
