Running wiring thru Firewall.

I have the Plow Prep Pkg. on my '04 2500HD....is there a Rubber Plug or something on the Firewall to run wiring thru, or do I need to drill ?...Thanks

BEER.............This is the pic your looking for. GM quit pre drilling

the hole in 04 or so. There should already be a dimple there to

guide you. Be sure to check both inside and out to be sure your

drilling in the right spot !!!!!!!!

I don't see any "Dimples" in the pictures, but do see a couple of "Rubber grommets" I can use. Actually, I'm looking to run a CB Antennea Cable.

RICK.................Go out and actually LOOK at the firewall of

your truck! You should see a dimple in the firewall. You can't

really "see" the dimple in that pic. but it gives you a good idea

of where to drill.

 

Running your CB wire thru the existing wiring/grommet holes

will only end up with water and noise leaks.
