Hello, I live in San Diego and have a 06' GMC Sierra Extra Cab in Silver Birtch but somehow overlooked that I was sold a "sport bed" and it's a 5'8" bed. I've only seen these beds on 4 door trucks but is anyone else rockin' one? Kinda strange but i still love my truck..can't wait to lift it Thanks again for this awsome site and see ya around.

There arn't too many of the 1/2 ton ext.cab "short-short beds" out there,We haven't even had or delivered any yet here at our dealership.

I don't think a lot of guys even know about them.

Nice, but interesting...is that frame specific to that configuration or is that the same length as something else? hmm

the frame seems shorter...the gap between the cab and the rear end is actually shorter. Because of this I cannot simply swap the beds

I see, I just wasn't sure if it ran the same frame as like a reg cab long box or that or if it's a separate frame just for the extended super shorty
