Husky Mudflap screws

Anyone else have their screws that are holding in their husky mudflaps rusting? Any ideas on replacements?

 

Its starting to buy me now cause they are noticable

Replace them with some stainless steel ones.  It you don't like the silver, get some of those little black cap things that you can put on license plate bolts/screws.   :thumbs:

When I installed my Husky's instead of using the supplied screws I got some GM oem-type .25" plastic push-in fasteners at a Chev dealer, they have flares/ridges that let them slide in rather easy but won't come out easy - I think the same kind are used to fasten the factory flares.  Since I did not have flares I just used the existing .25" (flare mounting?) holes, the holes on the Husky's lined right up with them.  I only used a single screw at the bottom of each front flap.  Anyway, I would think that those plastic fasteners would work for you too.

mine have 26,500 miles and have been through two winters and have seen alot of salt.  Just the front drivers side and rear pass side are rusty
