I just got a new 2007 Tahoe with the bose sound system. The problem i have is that i'm addicted to an HD station and my HD radio that I had in my old Tahoe. When I ordered the car they wouldn't let me order it without a radio and the package with the Bose sound was actually cheaper than without.

I just figured I go to Crutchfield and get a new radio. Their website said they don't recomend changing the factory radio. The website said the Chime would stop working.

Does anyone know how this works? I'm pretty good with electronics but I don't want to start hacking on the car if i'm missing something.
