Add a leaf

Ok guys.. gonna do the f^Ord torsion keys lifty thingy..hahah....andyways i really needed more info on the rear end part (which is usually the easy part...)...

 

options

 

1. (suggested by dealer) Add a leaf....added weight capacity and isn gonna hurt anything

 

2. Bigger blocks...cheaper...?

 

Which one and why guys..need your help thanks !

My truck has an add-a-leaf and the stock keys cranked almost all the way (1/4" on the bolt left).

 

I can't offer any tech advice on the issue, but here is a pic of mine for reference.

Mine has the F**d keys in the fr4ont and a Hellwig Add-A-Leaf in the rear. Got about 3+ inches in the front and almost 2 in the rear with the add a leaf. I only paid around $80 for the rear leaf kit including shipping. My signature pic is with both installed.

I'd go with the add a leaf. I tend to stay away from using lift blocks. More of a chance for breakage, and more axlewrap.

Thanks i appreciate that...is there a limit to 1..2...3.. add a leafs?
