What kind of gas mileage decrease would we be looking at with a Weiand Supercharger on a K1500 small block 350?

Seriously? It would raise my hp to about 360hp and 410lb/ft torque (Going by what they say). So your saying with that increase of HP I would get better gas mileage?

If you keep your foot out of it. A lead foot will mean worse mpg of course.

Its a 98 Silverado Z-71 Ext Cab 5.7L 350 with 104,000 miles on the engine. Engine runs great and has never had anything major replaced. What kinda wear would the supercharger do? What kind of things would I need to worry about?

The supercharger is going to put more stress on the engine due to the higher compression/hp. More down pressure on piston will stress piston, rods, crank and crank bearings. 350's are sturdy engines and as long as you don't hot rod it everday, burning tires off, enter truck pulls, etc. engine should stand up. I would just use a good quality synthetic oil, Mobil 1, Royal Purple, Amsoil or whatever, will help keep engine wear down as much as possible.
