"Shotgun" - Question for you

Hi Shotgun, I see you are from south LA. I'm from Baton Rouge and living in Gloster, MS. Wife is from LaPlace.

 

I actually have 2 questions:

 

1. Your 4.56 gears. Why did you get them, how much, who did it, and how much difference did it make? How did it affect gas mileage? Oh and did you get lockers? (that might be more than 2 questions ) My truck is a 3.73 6.0 2001 4x4 2500 (non-HD) and it does fine once it gets rolling, but takeoffs aren't impressive pulling a load.

 

2. Your Flowmaster true dual exhaust. Does it resonate? I just got a 2 in 2 out 70 series 3 chamber with dual 2.25 pipes and it is perfect except for 1200-1800 rpm when it resonates in the cab. Does the true dual make a difference? Flowmaster sells a resonator kit to be installed on the passenger side pipe, but they admitted it wouldn't help much.
