Did any of my fellow Mainers notice that the sky turned a distinct blue color today, and there was also a large, bright yellow ball in the sky. I didn't recognize it. Also the sky stopped dropping that wet stuff. Is this for real or am I dipping too hard into the Colt45?

Ah yes...The "daystar". It CAN be confusing sometimes.

Here in Eastern Ontario, we haven't seen the 'daystar' in a number of days. Of course, now that the weekend is over, I'm sure it'll come out. ;)

Its all my fault. I was foolish enough to open my pool 2 weeks ago Sunday. That was the last time the sun was out until today. 14" of rain..............NOAH, I WANT YOU TO BUILD ME AN ARK.

What the he!! is rain? What is a flood? The sun demon hasn't gone away down here in Texas since 2001...I would go fry an egg on the sidewalk, but its too da*# hot for that.

That's no sh**. I was in Houston a few weeks ago, and that place was a freakin' furnace.
