noob has silverado peformance questions

i just bought this 4.8 reg cab 2wd silverado from my dad. i've done mustangs all my life, so i'm now lost. i'm interested in a getting a little kick from the truck and have some questions...

 

gains from shorty header vs. long tube?

 

what are my options for high flow cat mid pipes?

 

how much spray can the factory 4.8 block handle?

 

can the stock fuel system handle a 100 shot or more?

Don't do the shorties , as for the high flow cats...these trucks depend on a decent amount of back pressure. If you free it up too much you'll get a power loss, don't know about your other inquiries...have fun
