installing engine

ok english is nat my first lengue sow i will try to be as cler as pasibole

a frind of mine is thinking of bieng a 94-97 hd3500 4x4 whit the 6.5l

desel engine thet dasent work i wase wandering how hard it wold

be to install a nther usd engine and wot tools we well need i all rady

know i will need achine lift to lift the engine out of the car and

a jak to lower the engine to line up whit the gerbox and the huock up

all the ather staff is ther samthing thet need moor atinshn and any moor

porblam also i dont have the manual

You'll need a set of SAE and metric wrenches and sockets, prybars, screwdrivers, torx bits etc. Basically a well stocked tool box with most of the more common tools.

If I can make a suggestion, round up about 20 small parts bins, and as you disassemble the truck sort and label everything. Use masking tape to label all the electrical connections BEFORE you disconnect. Take pictures of everything before you start, and as you go along. All of that makes reassembly a LOT easier, especially if you have to stop for a few days in between wrenching.
