Can someone help me with the Fog light mod

I know there is a way to cut a wire and splice another one to make the fog lights come on when the headlights do. I did it to my 2002 Z71 Tahoe, but I can't remember how it is done.

 

Can someone help me out here?

find the hotwire for your parking light and tap into it that way. That's what I did.
