Possible Fix for Steering Column Knock

I don't know if anyone else here knows about this or not, but when I asked my local dealer about thee common steering column knock problem, they said they may have found a fix. GM found that it is not the column causing it, it is the grease. They found some new grease that does not break down. I had the dealer do it. The service guy said so far he has had good luck with it.

We have still seen problems even with the new grease.

GM is coming out with yet another new revised steering shaft later in the year from what I've been told by our GM service rep.,We'll see if and when that happens and if it finally fixes the problem for good.
