Service Manual preferences

I would think a designated manual would be easier to use and probably more dense with information. I have an OEM service manual for my fathers car(05 Eb/anth, Navi, 5at Acura TL) that someone had hosted as a PDF very briefly, it is almost exactly 2000 Pages. I know it lists at about 100 as I checked before finding the PDF. I started adding quick links through the PDF, but got lazy.

GM will send you to the above linked-to firm to obtain factory authorized service manuals.

I bought the multi-volume set for $130 bucks or so.

Thousands of pages covering the entire vehicle.

As time goes by and repairs are needed and when the warranty is over I know I will save far more than what I paid for the manuals.

Follow the guy's link to the Helm site and buy the manual there. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it. They give torque specs for nearly every bolt on the vehicle. It is by far the most comprehensive way to go.
