Transmission Problems

I have a '99 Silverado 65,000 Miles. My transmission is starting to do a few weird things:

Reverse sometime does not want to go. Put truck in reverse and you have to step on the accelerator pretty hard in order for the truck to move. This mainly occurs when I am backing in my camper trailer or also when I have the AC on.

When shifting from 2nd to 3rd it sometimes over revs as it is shifting. It starts to shift and the revs go up as it is shifting then back down once it has shifted.

These are both intermittent problems that don't happen all the time. The tranny fluid and filter were repolaced last year.

  Of course that would be false. You could have had one welded into your stock pan if you could find someone who did TIG welding.

  I was recently given a cheap winch for my trailer and I’m going to build a front receiver hitch so that I can use it on my truck also. It is a 13,500lb Sinoking winch with synthetic rope and wireless remote. It is mounted on a Badland hitch mount. The lower plastic was removed from my truck several years ago when I built a custom tube framed skid plate for it. The hitch will be tucked up close to the bumper and hopefully I can add a 2” square tube to the back of the skid plate to fit it into the hitch to hide the hitch when it’s not being used.   Hi All, I am curious whether using the dashboard display for transmission fluid temperature is considered acceptable when setting the transmission fluid level after a pan drop, filter replacement, and fill. I have a 2021 gas/6L90. Thanks

  Every place on the hi-way is up , lowest is the truck stop, $3.93/ 87, the others haven't broken the $4 barrier yet but getting damned close. Lowest diesel $5.73. I haven't checked local yet but I bet they are over the $4 mark. I've been shopping for a type C motorhome and trying not to buy a Ford, found a couple diesels but the price of fuel is scary
