In Dash Changes

Alright, I have a 2006 Silverado LT. I wanted to know if I soulc replace the dual climate control with the digital controls out of the extended cab models. Would this fit in directly or would I have to do anything else? I want to keep with the factory lok at least int he interior, so would the Touch Screen Navigation out of the Tahoe's and Cadillac's fit in without any problems? I am trying to learn all that I can about my truck so I would appreciate any help.

The dual *manual* controls are not plug-compatible with digital *automatic* controls. A whole lot of other things, such as the temperature sensor, only exist for the automatic system. That's why it costs a lot more.
