max tire size?

does anybody know how big of a tire you can put on a stock 98 sierra z71 reg cab short box.. i had the torsion bars turned up 1 inch in the front today so it sits level.

I think everybody says that the width up to 285 is Ok. Assuming standard 16 inch rim size.

I run 285/75R16 on my 97 GMC with no problems. We cranked the T-bars all the way up and trimmed the plastic under the bumper on my dads 88 chevy, we stuffed 33-12.50s under it. Rode like crap though, I like my 285/75R16s no rubbing or anything.
