interior lights (or lack of)

interior lights were intermittant for a while. now they will not work at all unless turned on with dash switch. i've replaced both front door contacts, no help. any one have a good idea where to start next? thanks

There is an overide switch on the dash that will keep the lights off when you open the doors.
