2000 Tail lights

I have a 2000 Silverado with the tail light that yu cannot see the bulbs and I want some different tail lights. I was wondering if the 2003 tail lights (the ones that are a clear red so yu can see the bulbs) would fitting problems or if they match up perfectly??? Also, if they do fit does anybody want to get rid of a set???

I believe they are the same as the GMCs have been using all along and the ones on the duallys (like mine). I swapped mine out, but you will need the harnesses with them. They plug in under the back of the bed. Did mine in 20 minutes.

 

Good luck finding them. I got mine for about $95 used. I believe they are the preferred light so they will be scarce, or pricey. But I really do like them better.

You cannot see the bulbs? You mean they are dim?

How long has it been since you replaced them?

 

 

As for the 2003-2007 Chevy tails, they bolt right up in minutes. There is a fourth bulb on those lamps, so you can choose to run your current harness, modify your current harness or buy a harness for the lamps.
