Not exactly off-topic. I was just searching for some more "little" HP upgrades. This link should bring you to an article about a CAI, MAF sensor, and wires. It says they gain 55 HP and 45 ft/lbs with just these upgrades! I find it hard to believe, but he article seems to be legit.

I added one to my 2002 5.3L and It did make a small difference in response. I got the C model tuned to cold-air systems, as I ahve a K&N cold air kit.

Nect mod is a Flowmaster DOSS. That ought to provide a complete flow-through solution

15 horse from Plug wires? 17 ft lbs... Sounds like a load of crap.

If they were smart, they would video tape everything and put it online.

Tape:

1. stock truck dyno

2. installation of wires.

3. dyno w/ wires.

4. installation of MAF

5. dyno w/ MAF & wires

That would be more convincing. But they could rig that too Im sure.

Could also be it did not do much for you since you have a 5.3 instead of the smaller 4.8 that Clavin78 has....

Because everyone and their mother knows sparkplug wires dont put-out 15 (or whatever it was) horse. You can also tell its a load of crap, because wires, air intake, and maf wouldnt add 55 horse. Hell why buy a blower for $5000 and get 120hp when you can get this kit for $700 and get 55??

The BS card is wonderful

I'm not trying to push this product or its claims. I think it is kinda lame to jump the bandwagon and bash a product when no one has tested it out. For all you know this could actually do its claimed, you have no way of honestly saying it cant. Heck I'm with you and it probably does not make that power, but I bet it makes a portion of it. Even if it made 30 ponies it would be more than intake and exhaust seems to make for the same price.

I would like to hear from someone who has bought this kit and hear some first hand feedback rather than opinions. Not trying to start a war here.
