Does anyone know where I can get some underdrive pulleys for my '07 Silverado Classic's 4.3L V6?

I bought some cheap Jet pulleys from truckperformance for $99 for my 06 Sierra with the 4.3L. I only used the crank pulley and tossed the alternator pulley in the garbage. Gas mileage went up 2 miles per gallon and I had no issues with low charging. Since the truck came with the POS 3.23 rear end I can't really say if I had any improvement in power.

They only list up to 03 for a 4.3 engine, but it is probably the same engine as any other year, 07 included. The 4.3 has been around forever.

I heard its a real pain to install but you say its worth it.

I don't remember the crank pulley being that much of a pain. I used a 3/8ths breaker bar with a socket that fit. I think a pair of vise grips came in useful as well. If you have a impact wrench it would be even easier. I only changed the crank pulley, I left the alt pulley alone. This seems to be a better compromise to me.

I have not heard about this mod before. Do you have a link with more details? I have a 5.3 in my truck, do you think this would improve my MPG?

I've got zero experience with modding v8's. My experience is that the better the original design of engine, the less improvement you get from upgrades. I think the current 5.3 is pretty good already. My only advice is to avoid ASP pulleys unless you want to spend alot of money on repairs.
