I really cant say that im all that suprised. She was just showing what most of them are thinking when they dont win. She honestly should have put her emotions aside until she was by herself, and showed some support for her fellow artists. But oh well S**t Happens!

Yeah I was watching and couldn't believe her reaction. I think she really was shocked that she didn't win. Look at her face just before they announced the winner, she already has it made up in her mind that she's won.

 

Imagine Brook's and Dunn's reaction if they didn't win best duo for a change. I think I actually saw Ronnie Dunn mouthing the words "not me" as in "please not me again" when they were about to announce one of the awards.

 

At any rate I think Carrie is a great singer and has had 3 smash hits this year so she deserves it. Glad to see Paisley and Rascal Flats win an award too. Shocked to see Rascal Flats not totally murder one of their own songs trying to sing it live though...

 

Oh and everyone should be thankful for George Strait. If it weren't for the fact that he's still cranking hits out like a machine, we wouldn't even know what the steel guitar and fiddle are anymore. See my sig.

 

Oh and Carrie I love ya and that song rocks, but it still sends chills down my spine I can't abide taking it out on a poor innocent 4WD!!!

I dont watch stupid awards shows and I think, "what is wrong with her acting that way?" If I could not handle somebody acting like that if I won something, then there is no way I could make it where I am. You get knocekd down (literally), called names, and made to look stupid. And thats normal, everyone does it to everyone. The country needs to get their heads out of their ass.

That's why I love my TiVo. I don't watch it for the awards I watch it for the performances. Some were good (like Jason Aldean, or in Brad Paisley's case, EXCELLENT!) while others kind of stunk. Nice thing is let it record for a bit and then start from the beginning and skip through the junk.

 

Oh yeah, Sara Evans is still HOT!

Ah, Zee71, a little Murder on Music Row reference there. Yeah, a buddy and I started listening to George pretty good a year or 2 ago and made the decision to see him if he came nearby. So we went down to Charleston, WV in February to take in the show there. Of course the lovely Miranda Lambert opening up was an added bonus.

I think its funny... but bad PR on her part.

 

As for Sara Evans, my best friend and I have plans to drive up to Nashville soon and interview to be nannies for her kids.. I'm sure she'll need a couple now that the husband is gone.
