Haven't had a truck since my 90 Toyota 4x4 6cyl.....

 

Just bought a 2006 GMC Sierra, 5.3L, Z71, 4.10 rear...love it...I've had it about a week and in 500 plus miles, I've averaged 18.8 mpg (70 backroads/highway and 30 city)...

 

Living in the Northeast, just had it Ziebart (rustproofed) and a Rhino liner added...Raining pretty hard so sorry for the quality of the pics.

Thanks everyone...I'm fortunate that I don't need the extra room and was able to find exactly the combination I was looking for. Now it's time for some modding..I love this site.

Just went to pick up my truck from the dealer.....had them put on a Borla exhaust which they got throughGM Performance Parts, mud-guards and Undercover's hard Tonneau cover.....Now people know it has a V8 in it...
