dont have a 8.1 didnt think there was any suoerchargers/turbos out for it yet. i know for a complete kit for my 95's 454 its gonna cost about 3-4k  .. chips i think are a waste, unless you program your own.  thats just my opinion

supercharging to me seems like a good choice, you can run a little boost with stock engine till you get around to making the engine nice and built to run a lot more boost and make tons of power. but cost makes it hard to make it happen.
