Center Armrest Conversion for W/T

After installing the Lebroc folding center armrest conversion on my 2006 Work Truck I find that the armrest is too short to be very useful. It comes with the armrest and two cup holders but for my use wish they would have eliminated the cupholders and just extended the armrest. I would have thought the armrest would have been long enough so that one could rest your arm while holding the steering wheel but that is not the case as the armrest is just too short. Also there is no provision for storage in the Lebroc conversion as there is in the factory folding armrest.

 

I wrote to Lebroc with my concerns but did not get a response. Wish I would have gotten a factory folding armrest from a wrecking yard.
