t.b.i spacers????

They are useless, except for holding down papers. Save your money for a real performance add-on... like cams, heads, supercharger, etc.

I had one on my 1989 4.3. I didn't notice much improvement until I removed it. Then I found that the truck wouldn't hold it's speed up hills as well.

I have one on a 95 c2500 with a 350 and am pleased. They are not all created equal though. The intake on the TBI motors is a divided plenum and one injector servers one bank of cylinders and the other injector serves the other bank. The spacer I got was from cfm-tech.com, they specialize in tbi motors and their spacer acutally opens up the system to allow both injectors to server all of the cylinders. With my truck being as heavy and old (285,000 on the clock) as it is i noticed only moderate gains. Mostly she just seems to rev a little more freely.

 

Here is a link to the one i have. Not a bad price either at less than a 100 bucks for a piece they machine in house.
