rear disc brakes 99 denali

yep the truck is just too heavy for the stock front disc and rear drums.would like to upgrade the front disc and possibly use what i can from the front on the rear.

 

im totally into do it yourself kits jsut whats out there?

 

baer doesnt offer a big brake kit for this as this is still the old style(88-97)truck parts.

 

any help would be appreciated thanks fellas

I'm with you!!! I came looking for a conversion kit or howto so I can go from drums to disc.

 

wait no... I read that wrong... I'm not with you. I've only ever driven trucks with drums on the back. But cars with disc. I would think that having disc on the back would help overall stopping power.

 

Anyway to do this without a major rearend / brakeing system overhaul?

this denali is very heavy and in summer i run 22inch tires and rims so she is pushing alot of weight so any braking ideas would be great
