Rear AC/Heat constant air flow

Hi,

2001 Denali front overhead rear AC/Heat control. Even the control is OFF, constant air is coming out of the rear upper vents. Is this suppose to do this or is the control malfunctioning?

My Yukon XL has the same problem. See my post from Nov 25 as there is a good reply to the problem. Net is that this is a problem. Apparently the air door on/near the blower gets out of wack and the controls no longer respond. I'm bringing mine to the dealer tomorrow as it is still under warranty.
