motor conversion

I currently have a 2002 GMC Sierra. 1500 4.8 liter v8 SLE extended cab 4 door. I been toolin around with droppin a bigger motor in it. I recently found a 2000 chevy 3500 passenger van 2wd with a 5.7 liter vortech motor in it. What would it take to put it in my truck. Will the accessories on my current motor work on the bigger motor? Will the trans work ?? What kinda modifications do i need to make??? Will the old rear end work or do i need to get the entire drive train too??
