Preparing for Snow....But??

I've been running my SS 20"s for the past 2 years (sig) but I have a feeling that were going to get at least one major snow this winter if not more, were due!! So I put the OEM steelies/GYs back on my O3 (20's no go in snow)....Looks kinda weird to me. Whata ya think? I usually use my DD in the bad winter weather, but I just purchased 18' Konigs for it, so now my chevy has the DD duty!! Anyone else have winter wheels and tires?

I've got about 3 feet in the yard right now. Bought a set of rims off ebay and mounted some Cooper Discoverer STT's on them (235/85 R16). I've had them on about a month now this season. Makes a world of difference digging through the snow.

Yep summer/fall I run 255/85/R16 BFG MTs on a set of avalanche rims, winter/spring I run 285/75/R16 BFG ATs on my original stock rims. Next week I plan on changing them over. GRRR figures its gonna be like 20 degrees.

 

I did get ready for winter with one last coat of wax tonight before the cold weather sets in

I'm just sticking with the factory meats...And in the last two days it's iced an inch, then dropped a foot of snow on top of it.

 

The AWD working with the electronic nannies (Stabilitrack, traction control, and ABS) makes this the absolute best vehicle I've ever driven in the snow by a LONG shot. I'm running circles around Jeeps.

 

It's a lot more fun to turn that crap off and do some AWD drifting though
