They'll fit. Barely, but they'll fit. When I got the downfiring box for two 10's in my '02, there were a couple of guys there at the shop that had 12's in their rigs.

How did you get a 12" sub under the rear seat? Do you have pictures? Or do the subs have tiny magnets?

ya man ill get picks up asap...but they are upward firing also..they do barley fit..lol and i got my amp screwed to the back wall...like i said ill get some pics for ya!

Looks like a tight fit. But at least you have leg room! My 10" magnet is huge so I had to make a custom box the fits between the drivers seat and the rear. Sounds good though.

How do the upfiring subs sound? I was advised against that and was told downfire only.

Nice man i had problems just trying to get 2 12 to fit under my back seat then just gave up and rip them out of my truck and have a plat form in the back with my subs on it. But cool must hit very nice.

It's a MTX 4000 (?) I can't recall the exact model as I have had it for several years, and didn't want to spend the money on a new system.

The magnet is about ~6.5 diameter and ~1.5 thick. It's pretty beefy.

The reason why I was advised not to get 12" was for the type of base I wanted, but also because of size concerns. Those car audio guys throw so much info at ya that when you leave your head hurts, so I might be wrong.

haha i kno wat ya mean! But i havent had any troubles wit mine yet...and i get great high and low bass. I am switchin from the boston g1's to audiobahn...any words on that?

I have run Audiobahn equipment, such as amps and capacitors with awesome results. Run there subs? No. However, what I have heard is that they produce several great models and some that cause problems. People say that Audiobahns subs are made to play loud, but are not so great for lower volumes. Again, this is what car audio places have told me. But if you play it loud all the time, rock on!!
