I have an open diff now and i want more rear traction because i am lifting my truck soon and i will be running 35x12.50 BFGoodrich A/T's....

i have no clue what would be the best thing to use...i have the 5.0L (305) block and automatic tranny...

put a post as to what gearing you think would be best...mpg needs to be decent..this is going to be my daily driver but i still want to ability to wheel it nice offroad

and is it smart to run a locker in the back and a limited slip up front? or better to leav eit open up front cause of the IFS?

Not sure which locker i would get but as far as gears i would say 4.10's with 35" tires would be the choice i would make for over all driving. Maybe even 4.56's. As far as the front.....i would leave it open or maybe an electric locker, so u can disengage it to turn sharp. Chevys IFS is weak with 35" tires as a locker in the front. Maybe consider a solid axle swap?
